WELCOME

Welcome to Nalgo Putting League, a summertime social competition for all ages and genders to enjoy golf related sporting recreation in Swindon.  The six-a-side league matches are played on mid week evenings at the Nalgo Sports and Leisure Club, 610 Cricklade Road, Swindon, SN2 7AP. Refreshments are available for Members in the Nalgo Club House.  

Unique in its nature, the Putting League has run since 1935 (see more in the History section).  Matches consist of 6 singles and 3 doubles, each played over 18 single hole grass greens.  There are two 18 hole courses, the Plain and the Bunker, which have different levels of difficulty. In addition to the League matches, all Teams take part in the KO Cup and there are Singles and Doubles K/O events open to all Putting Members.

The new league season began week commencing 21 April 2025. League matches are on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Our teams welcome new players as this season we shall be staging new Pot luck doubles and match play format matches for current and new members to enjoy on on other weekday eveings with and a ladies pairs event to be arranged for Wednesday afternoons.
